“It was a difficult game,” said Noah Sadiki told Sunderland website. “They won on details. Like every big team we face, they are the details we need to pay attention to.
“I don’t think it was the case during the 90 minutes. We need to learn from our mistakes. It was all about the details today. We need to reflect and bounce back as quick as possible.
“We have many more games to play and many more games to win.”
Born in Brussels, Noah Sadiki first joined R.S.C. Anderlecht at the age of six at U-7 level and progressed through all of the junior teams up to U-21 level. He impressed for Robin Veldman’s U-21 team and caught the eye of first team manager Vincent Kompany who played him in two friendly matches in October 2021 and January 2022.
Noah Sadiki signed his first professional contract in February 2022 on a one-year deal, with the option of a further year. In 2023, Noah Sadiki left Anderlecht to join joined Union SG on a four-year contract, for a reported fee of €1.4 million.
However, in 2025, he left Union SG and joined Premier League club Sunderland on a five year contract, for an undisclosed fee.
