CAF ordered the Chad national team to forfeit its final two upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches following news that the Central African country’s government dissolved the Chadian Football Federation (FTFA). The country’s footballing authorities will likely see further sanction from FIFA as well due to strict regulations against the interference of governments in footballing affairs. Chad were set to play Namibia and Mali, matches that will now be counted as 3-0 results against Chad.
