Bwalya last-gasp header gives Ahly precious win over Entag in a 3-2 thriller

Ever since his excellent form at El Gouna led to a prized move to Egyptian giants Al Ahly, Congolese forward Walter Bwalya has found little success and declining playing time. However, Bwalya could not have chosen a better time to score his first Egyptian Premier League goal for his new club as his substitute cameo led to a massive game winning goal in the third minute of second half stoppage time to help Ahly to a dramatic 2-3 comeback victory over last placed El-Entag El-Harby.

Two goals in the second half from the hosts known for their affiliation to the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production put them into the lead after an Ali Maâloul penalty kick opened the scoring for Ahly, but a furious late rally led to the defending champions staging a comeback and earning three huge points. Hussein El Shahat finished through a crowd of El-Entage El-Harby defenders to equalize in the 85th minute before Bwalya leaped up to meet a perfect Maâloul cross to give Ahly supporters and manager Pitso Mosimane the winner they desired.

Ahly are now six points behind first placed Zamalek with two games still to make up on their rivals, making Bwalya’s winner that much more crucial. Video of the goals are below.
