Simeon Nwankwo, popularly known by his moniker Simy, will be staying in the Italian Serie A after enduring relegation with Crotone last season following news of his transfer to Salernitana. Despite Crotone’s relegation, Simy was tied for 5th in Serie A with Ciro Immobile in goal scoring as the tall striker tallied 20 times. Simy will have to continue his scoring this season as Salernitana are newly promoted and will need all the goals they can get as they attempt to survive their first season in Serie A since 1999.
