The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, a national team competition featuring selections from the Arab World that is the first of its kind since 2012, will proceed with its group stage next week and teams are announcing their squads for the tournament that will take place in Qatar. Algeria’s designated coach for the competition, Madjid Bougherra, announced his final 23-player selection for the competition that will see the Fennecs take a strong team to Qatar with senior national team regulars Youcef Belaïli, Baghdad Bounedjah and goalkeeper Raïs M’Bolhi among the names included. The trio play their club football in the Middle East and will be expected to bring the quality in a squad featuring many players who play their club football in North Africa, as well as former FC Porto veteran playmaker Yacine Brahimi.
