Sadio Mane fit for Senegal’s AFCON quarterfinal against Equatorial Guinea

Senegal superstar Sadio Mané shook off a nasty head injury to score the winning goal in the Teranga Lions’ Round of 16 match against Cape Verde, but his substitution soon after raised concerns. Following an examination, Senegal team doctor Abdourahmane Fédior cleared Mané to take part in Senegal’s quarterfinal match against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday. Mané has scored two of Senegal’s three goals in Cameroon and will be needed as the team attempts to improve their finishing edge.
