Liverpool and Senegal forward Sadio Mané is off to a new club after Liverpool and Bayern Munich agreed to a deal worth €41 million for the 30-year-old to join the Bavarian club for the 2022-23 season this week. Mané will join Bayern for an initial €32 million with an additional combined €9 million in appearance and performance-based fees.
The Senegalese forward’s departure brings an end to a six-season spell with Liverpool where he accumulated 120 goals in 269 appearances across all competitions. Mané won an English Premier League title in the 2019-20 season, the 2021-22 editions of the FA Cup and League Cup as well as the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League before winning the 2019 editions of the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
