19-year-old hot prospect Mamadou Fall will have an attempt to make an impact in European football following the completion of his loan move to Spanish side Villarreal on Thursday. The Senegalese center back joins the Yellow Submarine from Los Angeles FC on a deal that runs through June 2023 with LAFC having the ability to recall Fall at any point during the loan. Fall has spent some time at Villarreal earlier in his career having trained with the club’s youth teams.
Fall developed at Montverde Academy in Orlando, Florida before joining LAFC in 2021 at the age of 18. He made 38 appearances in all competitions and scored 6 goals before his opportunities in the club’s starting lineup became limited due to the arrival of Italian legend Giorgio Chiellini.
