With the end of the Algerian domestic season approaching, the football organizing bodies composing the Ligue 1 Professionnelle (LFP) and the Algeria Football Federation (FAF) are in a dispute over how to determine who will represent the country in next season’s CAF club competitions as well as deciding when to stage the final of the Coupe de la Ligue. This season’s CAF Confederation Cup finalists, JS Kabylie, still have games to make up on the rest of their domestic competition and the current setup will see them play a span of seven games with only three days between each fixture.
