35-year-old Zimbabwean goalkeeper Washington Arubi saw a revival of his club career this past season with the South African team Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, being the key player in the club now known as Marumo Gallants as they surprisingly captured the Nedbank Cup. Pocketing R200,000 ($14,000) as the player of the tournament, Arubi now has his sights set on a national team recall to the Warriors as they prepare for FIFA World Cup qualifying.
