At least one player was sent off in each fixture in a combative slate of matches on Saturday in Morocco’s Botola Pro. The opening game saw Moghreb Tetouan stretch their unbeaten streak to four games with a 3-0 victory over basement dwellers Renaissance Zemamra. Former Raja forward Anas Jabroun scored his first two goals of the season for MAT and Hicham Khaloua tallied his fourth to move Atleti into tenth place.
A strong start to Chabab Mohammedia’s return to the top division has given way to a period of struggle for the big spenders, moving their streak to five without a win in a 0-0 draw at Difaa El Jadida. The visitors had the better of play but DHJ fought hard to earn a rare clean sheet despite going a player down in the 79th minute.
In the day’s final game Mouloudia Oujda moved into sixth place courtesy of a 1-0 victory on the road at Youssoufia Berrechid. Youssef El Omari delivered an excellent finish in the 15th minute to move the visitors into the lead before Salaheddine Bahi was sent off in the 42nd minute. However, the hosts failed to cash in on the numerical advantage with their league-worst attack.
Highlights of each match are below.
