After two rounds in Morocco’s top division, the Botola Pro, Casablanca based powerhouses Raja and Wydad are tw0 of the four sides with wins in both of their games so far, joining newcomers Jeunesse Sportive Soualem and DifaĆ¢ El Jadidi. Zouheir El Moutaraji and new Congolese loan signing from Belgian football, Guy Mbenza, both scored in the second half to propel Wydad to their 2-0 victory at Rapide Oued Zem on Sunday for a deserved result.
Raja faced more resistance in their victory, edging out newly promoted Olympique Khouribga 2-1. Hamid Ahadad scored in the first half before the visitors found a surprise equalizer early in the second half from Mustapha El Yousfi. A last gasp effort in the final minute of second half stoppage time saw Raja’s short corner lead to a cross that found DR Congo midfielder Fabrice Ngoma for a match winning header that went in off the crossbar.
