CAF Women’s Champions League: CAF confirms draw and dates for 2023 qualifying

CAF released the list of fixtures for four sub-confederations in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League qualification process after the draw was conducted in Rabat, Morocco this week. The 2023 edition, hosted in the Ivory Coast capital city of Abidjan, will begin qualifying on August 7 when the WAFU Zone A region gets underway while the CECAFA region starts on August 12, the WAFU Zone B region on August 18 and UNAF on August 24.

Eight teams will participate in the final tournament later this year with host club AS D’Abidjan and defending champions ASFAR of Morocco already qualified. Each region will be represented by the champions of the qualifying tournaments.
