Congolese manager Florent Ibengé departed from Linafoot second placed side AS Vita Club recently and the former Congolese national team coach will be going abroad for his next job. Moroccan top division club and last year’s CAF Confederation Cup winners RS Berkane announced the hiring of Ibengé to improve RSB’s fortunes after an up-and-down year that makes it unlikely the team will qualify for CAF club competition next season. Ibengé’s most notable accomplishment in Congolese football was leading DR Congo to the title in the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN)
