Former Cameroon international Alex Song’s move to Djiboutian football with Arta Solar 7 grabbed headlines for being an unusual destination, but Song recently helped the club to its first domestic title. Now another former Indomitable Lions regular will be joining Song in Djibouti with the announcement of goalkeeper Carlos Kameni’s move to the club. The 37-year-old had retired from professional football in 2019 following a spell with Fenerbahçe in Turkey but will come out of retirement to join fellow Cameroonians Song and Dany Nounkeu.
