Another full slate of matches in the USL Championship and Major League Soccer took place from Wednesday to Sunday over the past week and Augustine Williams highlights our goal contributions from African players. The Charleston Battery forward and Sierra Leone national team member reached the fifty goal mark in USL play against New York Red Bulls 2 on Friday, also contributing an assist to make it five straight games with at least a goal.
In the American top division, Major League Soccer, Nigerian forward William Agada continued an excellent start to life in the United States with his third goal in his last two matches for Sporting Kansas City.
