Gor down Mathare United as KCB regain top spot

An own goal from Lennox Ogutu continued the misery for Mathare United as Gor Mahia gained a road victory and secured fourth place at the Kenya top flight bottom side’s expense on Wednesday. With a game still to make up on their competition at the top of the table, K’Ogalo are now only 5 points out of the top spot. That leadership role was taken on by Kenya Commercial Bank, who took advantage of Tusker FC’s slip up on Tuesday to move into top spot by winning 0-1 at Bidco United.
