Financial issues at Zimbabwean club Harare City FC led to the club’s players organizing a boycott over unpaid wages going back to January. The Herald investigates further into the problems that have been plaguing the capital-based side by speaking with members of the Harare City Council, the group responsible for raising funds for the club. According to members of Harare’s Information and Publicity Committee, addressing the issue of finding sponsors to reimburse the players is in process and the committee made reassurances to the players as the domestic season approaches.
