Elmina Sharks felt hard done by the center referee after a controversial red card and penalty awarded to Ghana Premier League opponents Hearts of Oak resulted in the eventual defeat of the underdogs. Despite the Phobians failing to take advantage of the penalty kick opportunity, two goals eventually came in the second half and the result could play a significant role for either team with Hearts locked in the title chase and Elmina Sharks not too far from the relegation zone currently.
