KCCA FC crucially fail to win at home against Arua Hill in Uganda Premier League matchup

KCCA FC failed to substantially close the gap on Vipers SC in the Uganda Premier League title race on Monday, being held to a 0-0 home draw against Arua Hill and remain six points back of first place. The visitors from the Northern Region looked very capable of stealing three points on the road against a KCCA side that were lackluster throughout the ninety minutes.

Arua Hill were unfortunate to not take the lead just before halftime when a long throw-in led to an open look that was blasted off the crossbar but failed to cross the goal line. KCCA had their own chance at the end of first half stoppage time but a header from a free kick went into the side netting.

The second half failed to generate the excitement of the first and neither team could make a breakthrough in a disappointing result for KCCA. Highlights of the match are below following a report from the Daily Monitor.
