Six of the eight quarter-finalists are now decided in the Uganda Cup as top-tier sides KCCA FC and Police FC clinched advancement with their results on Wednesday. KCCA FC had little to worry about heading into the second leg of their cup tie against Maroons FC, building on a 2-0 win in the first leg by following it up with a 3-0 defeat of the second division side to win 5-0 on aggregate. Police lost their second leg 1-0 to Bright Stars but won 4-2 on aggregate thanks to a 4-1 win in the first leg.
