The Lesotho national team has been hit with a blow just before they are set to take part in the COSAFA Cup following news that manager Thabo Senong has resigned his duties. Senong had submitted a squad list and began taking part in the pre-tournament training with his team in the cup’s designated “bio-bubble”, making his resignation a surprise. The South African, whose prior experience was as manager of the South Africa under-20 national side, accumulated no wins, seven draws and six losses during his tenure, building the Crocodiles into a team known for being tough to break down.
