Defending Ivorian champions ASEC Mimosas returned to domestic play on Thursday after a stretch of CAF Confederation Cup group games and saw their perfect record spoiled by Racing d’Abidjan following a scoreless draw. The drab match saw the hosts cancelled out by a stubborn Racing side, but ASEC still have plenty of games to make up on their competition. Les Jaunes et Noirs are two points behind current league leaders FC San Pedro but have played four less games at this point.
