Even though they earned two first-half goals to cruise to an apparently routine 2-0 victory in league action on Wednesday, Simba SC assistant coach Selemani Matola praised Kagera Sugar for being a tough team and forcing Simba to adjust their tactics after halftime. Implementing a slower approach compared to their breakneck pace that usually characterizes the Simba attack, Matola explained that the visitors needed to play it safer with a 2-0 lead on the road.
Luis Miquissone scored his sixth goal of the season in the 13th minute and Chris Mugalu added another ten minutes later to give Simba the necessary boost and obtain three points.
