Clermont Foot and Guinea national team striker Mohamed Bayo received a two-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of €4,000 after getting involved in a car accident while under the influence of alcohol and fleeing the scene in October of last year. The sentence was handed down on Wednesday for the 23-year-old born in France, who has scored ten goals this season in Clermont’s debut season in Ligue 1 after leading all scorers last season as the team earned promotion from Ligue 2.
