Morocco national team superstar attacking full back Achraf Hakimi completed a transfer to Parisian giants Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, joining on a five-year deal from Italian Serie A side Inter Milan. PSG beat out UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea for the 22-year-old’s signature, whose transfer was necessary for Inter to alleviate financial troubles and decrease their payroll. Hakimi appeared in nearly every match for Inter last season, scoring seven goals in 45 appearances across all competitions as the Nerazzurri won the 2020-21 Serie A title.
