  • Four of the nine group runners-up qualify for a playoff to determine Africa's representative at the intercontinental qualifying playoff.

Mouyouma is counting on the experience of Saudi based star striker Aubameyang. The former Arsenal forward will miss the game against Seychelles through suspension but he is expected to be back for the Kenya game.

Bouanga has been scoring goals for fun with MLS side Los Angeles FC. Since joining Galatasaray, Lemina is continuing to rediscover the form seen earlier in his career.. Mouyouma has summoned Ligue 1 based Shavy Babicka and pacy winger Jim Allevinah for the crucial clashes.

Italy based defenders Antony Oyono and Jeremy Oyono have also received a call up. Patrick Menene is the new inclusion in the goalkeeping department.

Gabon hopes to mount pressure on group leaders Ivory Coast by taking maximum points against Seychelles and Kenya.
