Conde released the squad on Monday ahead of Group G meetings against the Cranes at Cairo International Stadium in Egypt on March 20 followed by Algeria five days later at the Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium.

The group winner qualifies for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Four of the nine group runners-up qualify for a playoff to determine Africa's representative at the intercontinental qualifying playoff.
The coach has recalled youthful goalkeeper Kimiss Zavala, defenders Edmilson Dove and Chico Muchanga alongside new arrivals including Black Bulls FC forward Kélvio Neves. Dove has been out of the squad after suffering a long-term injury at his club Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa, from which he recently returned at the beginning of March.
The Chiefs centre-back has found his way back into the Mambas squad alongside fellow veterans Elias Pelembe of UD Songo and Atletico Madrid left-back Reinildo Mandava who has not featured for the La Liga side in their last three matches.
The squad comprises three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards with 12 of these locally based and 13 play from clubs in Portugal, Spain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Tanzania and Angola.
Mozambique’s delegation will depart for Egypt on March 16 due non availability of a certified home venue after CAF disqualified Zimpeto National Stadium from hosting high profile international games.
Part of the delegation made up of the technical team, players who play domestically in Mozambique as well as staff and directors will travel from Maputo next Sunday, March 16. Players based abroad will travel directly to Egypt where they will complete the group for the first challenge against Uganda.
