
Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile is the most notable inclusion in Namibia’s Brave Warriors squad released on Friday ahead of this month's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Shalulile, a legend in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League, is the notable figure in the Brave Warriors squad to face Malawi in Lilongwe on March 20 in a Group H game before hosting Equatorial Guinea in Polokwane, South Africa on March 24.

Four of the nine group runners-up qualify for a playoff to determine Africa's representative in the intercontinental qualifying playoff.
Orlando Pirates winger Deon Hotto is another recognizable face in the 24-member squad trimmed from a provisional 30. Brave Warriors head coach Collin Benjamin has since highlighted the importance of winning the two games:
“We are going to go all the way in the upcoming fixtures and the squad is a reflection of our desire to produce good results. The squad balances experience and youth, with key returns of a few players. It is essential that we have a successful outcome that will be a huge step into the next step,” he said.
Namibia faces a tough challenge in Group H, where Tunisia currently leads the standings.
