Head coach of Hearts of Oak will be looking forward to yet another victory in match day 16 against strugglers, Legon Cities on Friday at the Legon Stadium.

The Phobians dug very deep to beat Accra Lions 3-2 last weekend at the WAFA Park courtesy super substitute, Mawuli Wayo’s late brace.

The Phobians ended last year on a good note having defeated Berekum Chelsea 3-1 at home before the Accra Lions encounter. They will need all three points to keep the top four chase very much alive and head coach Aboubakar Ouattara highlights the need to win.

“We need the three points, whatever we have to do, we are going to fight to get the three points. The fighting spirit is part of that game and it is in the blood of Accra Hearts of Oak and we need the three points,” said Ouattara.

Hearts of Oak now sit in 6th position on 25 points from 15 league games. They are one behind Bechem United and Nations FC and two apart from Kotoko and Gold Stars.

Hearts of Lions lead the log on 30 points.
