Pyramids FC goalkeeper Ahmed El Shenawy emphasized that the match against Tunisia's Espérance will be difficult but Pyramids is fully prepared and has no alternative but to win in order to take a step closer to reaching the CAF Champions League quarterfinals.

Pyramids FC will host Espérance on Sunday at 4:00 PM GMT at the Air Defense Stadium in the fourth round of play in Group D.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, El Shenawy stated:

"The players have discussed among themselves the necessity of winning tomorrow's match, securing the three points, and making up for the loss in Rades. This is to prove that Pyramids is a big team that will not drop any points at home. It is essential to focus fully in this strong encounter against a team with great experience in continental competitions."

El-Shenawy explained that the Rades match is entirely different from the upcoming one at the Air Defense Stadium, especially since a large number of players were absent during the trips to Mali and Tunisia. However, the current circumstances are much better as most of the players have returned to full fitness.

He expressed his confidence that head coach Krunoslav Jurčić will select the right group of players and assured that whoever participates will prove themselves and give their utmost to secure victory.
