
Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller has announced the list of players who are traveling to Qatar for the 2024 Intercontinental Cup semifinal.
The team is preparing to face the winner of the match between Pachuca of Mexico and Botafogo of Brazil in the semifinal on December 14.
The winner of the match will also achieve the FIFA Challenger Cup title besides qualifying to face the Spanish giant Real Madrid in the final of the Intercontinental Cup on December 18.
The official list of players traveling to Qatar, as announced on Al Ahly's official website, is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy, Hamza Alaa, Mostafa Makhlouf
Defenders: Khaled Abdel Fattah, Omar Kamal, Youssef Ayman, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Ashraf Dari, Yahya Attiat-Allah, Karim El Debes.
Midfielders: Akram Tawfik, Marwan Attia, Amr El Solia, Karim Walid, Omar Alsaei, Mostafa Abo Alkheir, Ahmed Nabil Koka, Hussein El Shahat, Mohammed Magdy Afsha, Imam Ashour, Taher Mohammed Taher, Mohammed Abdallah
Forwards: Wessam Abou Ali, Percy Tau, Reda Selim, Mahmoud Kahraba, Samir Mohammed.
FIFA announced the list of the competition with the two youth players, Samir Mohammed and Mohammed Abdallah, excluded.
The head of the delegation for Al Ahly in Qatar is the club's president and Ahly legend Mahmoud El Khatib.
The team is on their way to Qatar at the moment.
