Paradou AC have now won four consecutive matches in Algeria's Ligue 1 Professionnelle with Wednesday's 2-1 victory over US Biskra at home. A free kick strike from long distance by Adil Boulbina proved to be the match winner with the PAC striker increasing his tally to eleven goals on the season, six more than the next closest scorer. The 21-year-old has now scored in six consecutive matches.
It was not easy for the hosts. Riad Rahmoun finished from a cross to put visitors Biskra ahead before the half hour mark. Currently sitting in the relegation zone, USB put in a remarkable first half effort to lead at halftime.
However, Paradou AC showed more motivation and initiative after the break and equalized in the 50th minute from a flick header by central defender Ahmed Ait Abdesslem. Fifteen minutes later it was Boulbina who put PAC ahead with a well struck free kick. An ambitious effort, Boulbina fired from over 35 yards and bounced past the Biskra goalkeeper to confirm victory.
Ligue 1 will go on an extended break before returning on January 21 with a duel between CR Belouizdad and JS Kabylie.
