Al Masry SC coach Ali Maher and Mahmoud Hamada, a player for the team, spoke ahead of their match against Zamalek in the fourth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
The Group D match will take place on Sunday at 4:00 PM GMT at Borg El Arab Stadium. The first-leg match between the two teams in the third round ended with Zamalek winning 1-0.
Ali Maher said during the press conference:
"We fully understand the importance of tomorrow's match. I have complete confidence in Al Masry's players and their ability to achieve a positive result. Al Masry fans give us great motivation to secure the win. The players are fully focused and we are completely accustomed to the atmosphere of tough matches. Converting our chances into goals requires more focus from the players."
Meanwhile, Masry midfielder Mahmoud Hamada stated:
"Our focus is high on tomorrow’s match and we aim to go far in the Confederation Cup. Tomorrow's match is of utmost importance, and both teams are like an open book to each other. Al Masry's fans are the key to success, and we hope to fulfill their ambitions.
