South Africa and AmaZulu midfielder, Rowan Lancaster Human has received massive praises from club co-manager, Arthur Zwane for his fast rise in the domestic league.
The former Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg attacker has shown glimpses of his old self, as he provided two assists in their last 2-2 draw with Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium and claimed the man of the match award for his efforts displayed.
Zwane says his experience of working with the youth, together with his co-coach Vusumuzi 'Kanu' Vilakazi has benefited a talent like Human.
"I think our advantage – myself and Coach Kanu – is us being in the development structures for quite some time, and trying to understand how these young players do things," said Zwane.
"And sometimes we become too harsh on them, but you also look at the situation as to whether he can be able to handle the pressure.
"If he's able to take the pressure, then you put him under pressure and challenge him because you want to get the best out of him, and I think he's one of the players that has responded to that positively.
"And we needed now to take him to another level, to push him because he can be a player that is very important for the club, which is good because it's also the club's investment.
"So it's always good for us to see the youngsters doing well for themselves and carrying the team."
The 24-year-old also scored and provided an assist when AmaZulu beat SuperSport United 2-1 last Saturday, and has now directly contributed to seven goals in 16 Betway Premiership matches this season, with two goals and five assists.
