In his first remarks since taking over as the head coach of Egyptian club Al Masry, Tunisian Anis Boujelbene expressed his complete happiness at assuming the managerial role of the team.
He emphasized his deep knowledge of the passionate fanbase of Al Masry and his full awareness of how much Egyptian football supporters love and strongly back their team.
Speaking exclusively to Al Masry’s media center, Boujelbene stated that he fully understands the pressures associated with leading a club of such stature and passionate supporters. He added that he always strives for success and that anyone aiming for this must be prepared to handle all its challenges.
Boujelbene assured that he and his coaching staff will do their utmost to secure victories and bring joy to Al Masry’s fans.
He stressed that success is achieved through the unity of all involved, starting from the club’s board, passing through the technical staff and players, and ultimately reaching the devoted supporters. Boujelbene also pointed out that the team will train in their home city of Port Said whenever the opportunity arises, highlighting that this would serve as an extra motivation for the players.
Boujelbene extended his appreciation to former head coach Ali Maher, acknowledging the great effort he put into the team. He added that he will strive to build upon what Maher started with Al Masry after the former coach departed for fellow top flight club Ceramica Cleopatra.
