
Algeria national team player Anis Hadj Moussa, currently playing for Dutch club Feyenoord, shared his thoughts on the Premier League and the Algerian football during an exclusive interview with beIN Sports.
On the English Premier League
“The Premier League, for me, is every player’s dream," said Hadj Moussa. He also praised the fans in England’s top-tier league. “There are many things that make the Premier League unique, one of them is that the fans create incredible atmospheres," he added.
Hadj Moussa also revealed that he has several friends playing in the Premier League who told him about the “amazing" atmospheres during their matches.
On playing for the Algeria national team
When discussing Algeria’s national team, the young player acknowledged many changes. “There have been many transformations with the team,” he noted.
About the future, Hadj Moussa said: “We aim to qualify for the World Cup and make an achievement in the next Africa Cup of Nations.”
He has a point of view about representing Algeria, “Playing for the national team means playing for the entire Algerian people,” he stated.
Anis Hadj Moussa, born on February 11, 2002, has made 22 appearances, scoring six goals and providing two assists with Feyenoord this season.
A standout performance of Hadj Moussa came in the UEFA Champions League group stage against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. The thrilling match ended in a 3-3 draw with Hadj Moussa scoring a crucial goal and delivering a key pass that led to another. He won the Man of the Match award.
Despite his club success, the Paris-born forward is yet to secure a regular spot with the Algerian national team. He has made just three appearances for the senior squad, totaling 38 minutes on the pitch.
