More clubs in Botswana are turning to Europe for coaching solutions with Sua Flamingoes FC being the latest.
Flamingoes have announced the hiring of Serb Nikola Kavazovic on a two-year contract. "Nikola returns to Flamingoes' nest after his brief but impactful stint in 2023. With his wealth of experience and technical expertise, we have no doubt that he will lead the team to new heights this season," the statement reads.
The last job for the well- travelled coach was with Vipers in Uganda Premier League where he was sacked three months ago.
Sua Flamengoes are currently in fifth place, four points behind Botswana Premier League leaders Tafic going into Saturday's game against Gaborone United.
Last week, Township Rollers recruited Abdelaziz Karkache as the new coach. The Belgian replaced Mogotsi Mpote who was saved barely seven games into the new season.
Still in Botswana, CAF Confederation Cup participants Orapa United parted ways with Bulgarian coach Dimitri Pantev last week.
