Ghana national team striker Antoine Semenyo has been left gloating about his blistering performance at English Premier League club Bournemouth. The energetic Black Stars forward has been in fine form for the Cherries in the first round of the English Premier League where he has scored five goals with two assists to his credit.

Bournemouth’s respectable performance this term puts them in pole position to finish in a European spot for next season with Semenyo playing a key role. The Ghana international feels this is the best he has felt physically and mentally since joining the Premier League club.

“I feel like feeling 100% is one of the things I’ve been hoping for the past couple of years,” he told Stadium Astro. There haven’t been any major problems, so that’s a good thing.”

Semenyo has given rave reviews about manager Andoni Iraola for the guidance and support which he believes has contributed to his fine form.

“I feel like I’m developing my game a lot more, and that comes down to the manager. He seems to be able to maximize my abilities and attributes, and it’s really nice to have the manager, his assistants, and my teammates pushing me to be the best that I can be. So it has been a good start and the only way is up.” He added.

This season, Semenyo has scored against defending champions Manchester City and Manchester United, helping Bournemouth rise to 7th place in the Premier League table. He has five goals and two assists in nineteen matches this season.
