Sierra Leone international Augustus Kargbo has promised to repay Blackburn fans for the love they have showed him since he signed for the EFL Championship side.
The 25-year-old signed a permanent deal to move to Ewood Park from Italian outfit Cesena two months ago. Since his arrival, he has gone ahead to make six times for the club. “Life’s been good and I can’t complain,” the No.47 said to RoversTV. “The environment has been really good, I’m with the team and I’m loving it here.
“The fans have been great with me since I came in and started playing, they’ve been amazing. I can’t wait to pay them back. You can feel the fans waiting for something when I have the ball and I’ve received so many messages from them since I picked up my injury.
“I want them to know that those messages are helping me and giving me more strength to be back as soon as possible. The football is quite different here compared to Italy, where it’s more tactical,” he added when comparing the English style to the divisions he's featured in with his previous clubs.
“There’s more intensity here in England and I think it suits me more, because I like having that freedom to play.”
