Al Shamal SC and Algeria national team striker Baghdad Bounedjah has been named in the Qatar Stars League best XI for November and December. This recognition comes as a reward for his contributions to his team during this period.
Bounedjah scored two goals and provided four assists in just three matches since the start of November. The 33-year-old was directly involved in six of the seven goals scored by Al Shamal in these three games showing how important he is to his team. After spending last season in the bottom half of the table and finishing 9th place, Shamal are currently in 5th place spurred by Bounedjah's efforts.
Baghdad Bounedjah also leads the Qatar Stars League's top scorer rankings this season with a tally of 11 goals, three goals ahead of Qatar national team star Akram Afif, Kenya's Michael Olunga, Brazilian attacker Roger Guedes and Spanish striker Rafa Mujica.
