Sekhukhune United are the latest team to move into third place as the battle continues from South Africa's Betway Premiership for third place and qualification to the 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup.
First half goals from Samkele Sihlali and Chibuike Ohizu were enough in a 2-1 victory for visitors Sekhukhune at Cape Town City on Sunday. Sihlali pounced on sloppy defensive work from the hosts to turn in his first professional goal and Man of the Match Ohizu helped set up the second goal with good build up play before being rewarded with an easy tap-in.
Stellenbosch remain the slightest of favorites at the moment to secure third place with a game in hand on Sekhukhune but Babina Noko are firmly in the race for qualification to next season's Confederation Cup.
South Africa's top flight will take twelve days off before resuming on April 18.
