Durban club AmaZulu now have back-to-back victories under their belt in South Africa's Betway Premiership following Sunday's 2-0 victory over Cape Town City at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.

Namibian striker Elmo Kambindu opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with his third goal in six matches since joining from fellow top flight side Chippa United. Nkosikhona Radebe doubled Usuthu's lead after the hour mark to confirm victory in Arthur Zwane's first match since taking full control as the sole head coach following the resignation of co-coach Vusi Vilakazi.

AmaZulu move up to fifth place for the time being, leaping past Stellenbosch FC and TS Galaxy. Sunday's match completes a thrilling weekend in the South African top flight that saw leaders Mamelodi Sundowns increase their advantage with a victory over Kaizer Chiefs while second place Orlando Pirates fell to defeat against Marumo Gallants.

The league resumes action on Tuesday with Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch in action against Magesi FC and Marumo Gallants respectively.
