Kaizer Chiefs supporters were left frustrated with their team again on Tuesday as AmaKhosi slipped to a 1-4 defeat against SuperSport United with two former Chiefs players on the scoresheet for SuperSport.

Samir Nurkovic opened the scoring inside three minutes and Christian Saile, recently acquired from Chiefs, put visitors SuperSport ahead after Makabi Lilepo equalized for the hosts. SuperSport would not look back in the second half with goals from Ghampani Lungu and Siphesile Ndlovu confirming an end to Chiefs' brief two-match winning streak.

A red card to Gaston Sirino in the second half further emphasized Chiefs' misery and maddening inconsistency. The Soweto giants look set to drop out of the top-6 with Stellenbosch breathing down their necks following a dramatic 3-2 victory at TS Galaxy. Ashley Cupido scored twice in the final ten minutes to clinch a comeback win against Galaxy, who have now lost two straight matches since stunning Mamelodi Sundowns a week ago.

On the other end of the table, Magesi FC continue to show signs of progress after a miserable first half of the campaign. The Limpopo province based club earned a hard fought 1-0 victory at local rivals Polokwane City who continue to hit a wall in February with a three-match winless run.

In the other match from Tuesday, Chippa United defeated Cape Town City 2-0 away from home.
