Betway Premiership: Marumo Gallants part ways with Malesela and Molefi

South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Marumo Gallants have confirmed the exit of head coach Dan Malesela and Technical Director Molefi Ntseki with immediate effect.


A statement from the club confirmed: “Marumo Gallants FC has released Head Coach Dan Malesela and Technical Director Molefi Ntseki following the club’s struggle to improve its league standing,” the club statement read on Friday.


“Currently 14th on the log with just four wins from 17 matches, Gallants is looking for a fresh approach. The club appreciates their contributions and wishes them well in their future endeavours.


“In the interim, Assistant Coaches Sundra Govender and Duncan Lechesa will oversee the team while the process of appointing a permanent head coach is finalised.”


The two leave Marumo when they are sitting 14th on the league table with 14 points from 17 matches. They have won three matches, drawn five and suffered nine defeats.
