URA FC forward Bruno Bunyaga has credited the club’s management, technical staff, and teammates for the unwavering support and belief they’ve shown him throughout the season.
After a slow start to the campaign, Bunyaga broke his scoring duck in URA’s 2-0 away win over Mbarara City FC at Kakyeka Stadium, coming off the bench to make a decisive impact.
He then followed it up with a brilliant brace in the Tax Collectors’ commanding 4-0 triumph over Soltilo Bright Stars at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Wednesday, his most prolific outing of the season so far.
Now, reinvigorated and full of confidence, Bunyaga is eager to maintain his form and keep contributing to the team’s success. “I’m really happy to be on the scoresheet again because that’s what I’m here to do,” Bunyaga told club media.
“The journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m thankful to the management, coaching staff, and my teammates for standing by me during the tough moments. Their encouragement helped me stay focused and committed. I just want to build on this momentum and help the team finish strong.”
URA FC and Bunyaga now turn their attention to a highly anticipated showdown against KCCA FC on match day 24 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, set for Wednesday at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
