CAF announces kick off times for Champions League semifinal clashes

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the dates and fixtures for the semifinals of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League, featuring two exciting clashes between Egyptian and South African giants.

The semi-final draw has set up two high-stakes showdowns:

• Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) vs Al Ahly (Egypt)

• Orlando Pirates (South Africa) vs Pyramids FC (Egypt)

First Leg – Saturday, April 19

Both first-leg matches will take place in South Africa on the same day.

Mamelodi Sundowns vs Al Ahly

• Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

• Kick-off: 13:00 GMT

Orlando Pirates vs Pyramids FC

• Venue: Orlando Stadium

• Kick-off: 16:00 GMT

Second Leg – Friday, April 25

The return legs will be hosted in Cairo, Egypt in the same day.

Al Ahly vs Mamelodi Sundowns

• Venue: Cairo International Stadium

• Kick-off: 16:00 GMT

Pyramids FC vs Orlando Pirates

• Venue: Air Defence Stadium

• Kick-off: 18:00 GMT

The winners of both semi-final ties will progress to the CAF Champions League Final, which will be held over two legs:

• First Leg: May 24

• Second Leg: June 1
