Mozambican side, Associação Black Bulls FC, has described its CAF Confederation Cup decisive Group D meeting with Egyptians Al Masry in Cairo on Sunday evening as a battle of three points or nothing.

“Today, we face Al Masry SC at home at 18:00 in a real battle between the Bulls and the Green Eagles. Let's try to surprise [them] and stamp the passport for the next phase. It's all or nothing,” a brief statement on the Mozambican champions’ Facebook page reads.

Earlier, Black Bulls coach, Helder Duarte, urged his players to embrace the challenge of competing in the Confederation Cup as an opportunity for growth. Black Bulls, whose home ground in Maputo is not certified, hope to wind up their continental group assignments with a win and sneak through to the quarterfinals.

Duarte’s men, who held Al Masry 1-1 at home in the first leg, are smarting from a 3-1 loss to Zamalek in Caro whereas today’s opponents returned from Nigeria with a one-all draw against Enyimba last weekend.

The table anchors Black Bulls (four points) need a win at all costs against Al Masry (six points) to secure a quarterfinal place while also praying for Enyimba’s loss to leaders Zamalek, who have 11 points, six points ahead of the Nigerians.

In previous games for the group, Black Bulls lost 2-0 to Zamalek in the first leg before holding Al Masry to a one-all draw and then stunning Enyimba 3-0, with the Nigerians getting their revenge with a 4-1 win in the reverse fixture.
