Defensive perfection and victory continues to be the theme for Moroccan club RS Berkane. The Orange Boys maintained their perfect record this season in the CAF Confederation Cup with Sunday's 1-0 Group B victory over hosts Stade Malien in Bamako.

The visitors from Morocco endured some pressure from their Malian hosts but limited Les Blancs to only one shot on goal. Victory was secured for the current leaders of Morocco's Botola Pro in the 64th minute when Imad Riahi received a pass from Mamadou Camara and placed a low shot past Stade goalkeeper Solomane Coulibaly.

RSB have clinched qualification for the quarterfinals with two games to spare and now sit six points ahead of second placed Stellenbosch FC. Earlier in the day, the South African club defeated Angola's CD Lunda Sul by a 2-0 score in Durban to leap past Stade Malien who they lead by two points for the second spot in the quarterfinals out of Group B.

Andre de Jong scored both goals for Stellies in the victory, who can confirm qualification for the quarterfinals with a victory at the same venue against Stade Malien in one week.
