The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) announced that the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam has been cleared to be the venue when Tanzanian giants Simba SC take on Egypt's Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals.
There were concerns that the stadium would be unavailable after it was closed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) over concerns about the playing surface. Those issues have been resolved as acknowledged by the TFF in a statement.

Al Masry will host the first leg in Suez, Egypt on April 2 before the teams meet again a week later for the second leg which will take place at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on April 9. Simba finished first place in Group A during the group stage while Al Masry finished in second place in Group D behind fellow Egyptian side Zamalek.
